The Allied Health Assistants' National Association Ltd (AHANA) is the Australian peak body for Allied Health Assistants (AHAs).
Members of AHANA's Practising Member (Provisional) class are AHAs who have committed to AHANA's high standards of ethics, conduct and practise, showing their dedication to the Allied Health Assistant profession and providing exceptional service to their clients.
Practising Member (Provisional) membership is granted to practising AHAs, and people intending to practise as AHAs in the 12 months following grant of membership, who do not have formal Allied Health Assistant qualifications or greater than 450 hours' experience practising as an AHA.
